Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address, the page you subscribed from and the date are stored so I can send you updates about my research, projects and upcoming venture. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any newsletter email or writing to roby.divia@gmail.com; your address is then deleted.
Contact form. Your name, email, subject and message are delivered to my inbox so I can answer you. They are not stored in a database on this website. Legal basis: replying to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the conversation.
AI assistant. Questions you type into the chat are sent, together with the conversation so far, to OpenRouter, which forwards them to a third-party language model to generate the answer. Free models may be operated by providers that log prompts or use them to improve their models, so please do not share personal or sensitive information in the chat. I do not store chat conversations. Legal basis: providing the feature you choose to use (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics and error monitoring. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregated, cookie-free statistics about page views and performance. Sentry records technical error reports (for example browser, page and error details); it is configured not to collect IP addresses, cookies, headers or form contents. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site working and fast (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting and security. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs and may use strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not show a cookie banner because it sets no cookies that require consent. Only strictly necessary security cookies may be set by the hosting provider.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to roby.divia@gmail.com and I will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
