University of Oxford, Department of Computer Science — under the supervision of Prof. Irina Voiculescu
Three-month visiting research stay at the University of Oxford, expanding research on anatomical landmark detection in medical imaging. Worked at the intersection of computer vision and clinical diagnostics.
Key Contributions
- Validated a cross-modality landmark detection pipeline for automated hip condition assessment on a matched cohort of 89 patients with paired MRI and X-ray images, achieving 87.5% diagnostic accuracy on real-world clinical data
- Collaborated with clinical experts at the University of Oxford to translate research algorithms into practical diagnostic tools, while evaluating model adaptability using few-shot incremental landmark detection for unseen landmarks
